Devotion and worship

मनुष्याणां सहस्रेषु कश्चिद्यतति सिद्धये |
यततामपि सिद्धानां कश्चिन्मां वेत्ति तत्वत: || 3||

“Out of many thousands among men, one devout endeavour to seek the union with ME and out of those who have sought to attain spiritual union with ME, one exclusive attains the divine noesis by completely surrendering oneself”.

Lord Krishna gives importance to devotion as it is with this devotion. one gets elevated on the path of spiritual transcendence through consistent practice. Lord Krishna says that out of thousand persons, only one try to seek union with Lord Krishna and even out of those thousands only an exclusive individual endeavours to merge oneself into Lord Krishna by completely surrendering to the HIM. By surrendering to Lord Krishna, one can attain the ultimate spiritual knowledge.

The path of devotion and worship presents itself with numerous obstacles. Those impediments are rather examination of one’s character and the strength of conviction. For a staunch devotee, miseries are different forms of test to evaluate the firmness of devotion and worship towards Lord Krishna. With the power of determination, few succeed to endure the excruciating sorrows in life.
Nevertheless, the enlightened beings would be aware that sorrows would make them more dedicated and positively obdurate in the same manner as the gold goes through furnace to enrich its authenticity and value.Lord Krishna explains that a devout whose devotion towards HIM enhances with every encounter of tribulation and withstands the hurricane of miseries with fortitude, finally attains the oneness with Lord Krishna.

It is a testament of veracity that surrender before the Almighty is not possible without keeping mountainous will of devotion. This devotion crystallizes a person who then would always believe that merger with GOD is the final terminus of spiritual transcendence.
