Diet And Heart Disease - Nutritional Medicine

drsarahbrewer.com

Diet and heart disease are so closely linked that almost one in three heart attacks could be prevented by following a heart-friendly diet. The large INTERHEART study, which involved over 16,000 people in 52 countries concluded that following an unhealthy diet accounts for almost one in three heart attacks (30%) worldwide. Fruit & veg, nuts, oily fish, tea, dark chocolate and even a glass of wine all have protective effects (wine in moderation, of course).
