Drowning in Anxiety


Are you drowning? 🌊😒
Anxiety, we've all heard of it, we've all experienced it and it's something, we, as positive minded beings, need to learn to observe and release and not allow to become a stressor.
Anxiety is completely useless to our lives. Anxiety is an often crippling emotion that has the power to hold us back from our true desires and halts our personal growth if we allow it to.
Along my journey when I have experienced times of high anxiety and I am facing a number of obstacles at any given time, I feel overwhelmed and often times feel as if I am drowning... 👀🌊
Other symptoms include: shortness of breath, nervousness, feelings of dread and panic, sweating, weakness, feeling tired, muscle twitching, trouble performing day to day activities, restlessness... and I am sure many more. Comment below if you have something to add. 👇
Instead of letting these negative emotions and the physical afflictions that they cause control and limit us, we should really examine what is making our anxiety spike and tick... piles of laundry and bills, problems at our job/workplace, caring too much what others think, feeling as if there is never enough time, illness within ourselves or family, not following our personal beliefs/goals, lingering childhood pain? There are many root causes to our day to day anxiety and it is important to figure it out. Once we have defined where our anxiety is stemming from we have a chance to heal the root cause releasing built up stress and stop drowning. Besides looking within ourselves and exploring the depths of our own minds, other measures to alleviate or prevent anxiety include: taking steady deep breaths when you feel anxiety rising, pet or play with an animal, go outdoors and go on an adventure in nature 🌈 ❤🌳(personal favorite), writing a gratitude list and reading it daily, breaking up responsibilities into manageble tasks, writing a list and marking off as you go!, find someone you trust that you can talk to, check into natural options such as cbd oil treatment. 🚩These are all options I have used and have found to help.
Are you drowning? Are you ready to ask yourself why? Why drown when you can soar? We are infinite beings capable of manifesting our own happiness. 😄Stop stressing, define and release the causes of our anxiety, and break responsibilities down into manageble tasks. Stop stressing so much and enjoy the beautiful ride of life family and friends!!👊 ❤🌈

    There are times when we ourselves or people around us are "drowning" but we don't realise it unless something catastrophic happens. Your take on anxiety and stress is inspirational and I am truly grateful to you for sharing such powerful thoughts. I am absolutely going to take your advice and work upon myself.
