Inculcation of Spiritual knowledge

Epistemology of God and SpiritualityRevolutionary Thoughts and Ideas

There is vast difference between knowledge and information. Knowledge is self realization and rest are information. A knowledgeable being would know that GOD is the creator of the entire living entities and stays in the heart of every individual.

Simplicity is one aspect that personifies knowledge. God had always been simple. When Sudama went to meet Lord Krishna, HE embraced his childhood friend and later washed the feet of Sudama with tears gushing out of HIS eyes. GOD exhibited astounding simplicity thereby imparting the all important knowledge to human race to adopt simplicity and not demean anybody. A person with the trait of simplicity would also be circumspect in his/her speech and control of the mind.

In the state of being in knowledge, a person would always be detached from objects that infuse sensual gratification. Such a person would always exercise self control knowing the disposition of mind that mind is fickle and carries the propensity to divagate from one subject to another.

Further, being in the sphere of perfect spiritual knowledge, a person would abandon the perception of the cycle of birth and death, old age difficulties and affliction of diseases. HE/she would be free from entanglement of possessiveness. Here, many would misconstrue renunciation to be abnegation of family responsibilities. In Bhagvad Geeta, Lord Krishna adviced the human beings to renounce the fruits of one’s deeds and discharge all responsibilities with sheer devotion.

It is one’s prime onus to dispense family responsibilities with scruples but without being over possessive and desirous of any return. A person in knowledge would never build the shelter for possessiveness and would be in complete apprehension that possessiveness would eventually ruin him/her.

Here, I have used word possessiveness. Pure affection towards another person is a characteristic of Godliness but over possessiveness is a negative aspect which may give birth to rift, discord and snatches the individual space of a person. Possessiveness delivers expectation. If one is possessive towards another person then he/she is ought to carry a bagful of expectations and desires of reciprocal.

In the absence of the desirous return, anger, frustration and acrimony would creep in destroying the complete personality of a person. Over possessiveness conceives crime. We have been reading news about jilted lovers resorting to crime to vent out their exasperation for the fall out of a relationship because of over possessiveness.

Knowledge makes the person even-minded which enables him/her to be steady in mind amidst adversities and predicaments. A person with sheer knowledge would constantly engage in unalloyed worship towards Lord Krishna and would know the significance of self realization and the Absolute Truth that is Lord Krishna. The aspects mentioned above are the ultimate knowledge which Lord Krishna had promulgated in Bhagvad Geeta. Lord Krishna stated that anything other than these aspects is sheer ignorance and ignorance is cause of destruction.
