Knowledge : Destroyer of ignorance

Self-Help and Sense ControlDesire ControlMind Management

Lord Krishna has defined the characteristics of a perfect and knowledgeable human being. Lord had stated that although illusionary yet the river of aspiration incessantly flows without reaching any culminating point and becomes instrumental in the emergence of a deluge that devastate lives. Fulfillment of one desire leads to the birth of another one. Certain desires are untenable and enter ones’ mind in many disguises. It can be construed as a simile that desires are like unbridled horses that trespass the peripheries of righteousness (Dharma) if not exercised control over.

If an individual strives tediously to accomplish each and every desire then his/her downfall would be imminent. In the society, the number of suicides is alarming. A normal household‘s serenity gets demolished as a result of the defiance to fulfill aspirations. A person resigns to depression and a complete persona goes through a dangerous changeover when the desires are not fulfilled.

The Almighty created human being as messengers of love but in return human beings created weapon of self destruction called desires that are of interminable in nature. Lord states that if a person is content with whatever he has achieved in conjunction with his wisdom and diligence then he would be free from all character assassinating complexes such as jealousy, greed, duality and dilemma. Such a person would not mourn over failures or gets overjoyed or complacent on achieving success.

A person who is a spartan and has the forte of self command would deal with triumphs and failures as well as other vicissitudes of life with imperious fortitude. He/she with such tremendous inherent capabilities would never get bound by any of their actions even while performing all activities with alertness and knowledge.
