YOUTH: THE TORCHBEARERS TO ESTABLISH A SERENE AND HARMONIOUS SOCIETY: SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

Happiness and PositivityWords of WisdomSelf Empowerment Divine Inspiration

The Almighty is omnipresent; The World that we see is the clear manifestation of GOD. Hence, we are all connected to each other. The service towards mankind is the real worship, real offerings. Swami Vivekananda had articulated that serving human beings irrespective of gender is the sewa and offerings to God.

Swami Vivekananda, credited to bring Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the western world said the following words about Bhagavad Gita:

“The Gita is a bouquet composed of the beautiful flowers of spiritual truths collected from the Vedas and the Upanishads.”“The secret of karma yoga which is to perform actions without any furtive desires is taught by Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad-Gita.”

“Karma, Bhakti, and Jnana are but three paths to this end. And common to all the three is renunciation. Renounce the desires, even of going to heaven, for every desire related with body and mind creates bondage. Our focus of action is neither to save the humanity nor to engage in social reforms, not to seek personal gains, but to realize the indwelling Self itself.”

Swami Vivekananda used to lay robust emphasis upon contribution of Youth towards the development of a society in all respects. The norms and successful strategies towards welfare of Society can be achieved only through emancipation from rigid ideologies and discrimination based on caste, creed, complexion, gender or particular organizational maxims. The soul; that is the actual person; not the one we project, is free from all these outer ostentatious beliefs.

Swami Vivekananda had taken volition to work for the welfare of mankind. He had adopted the medium of intense conscientious deeds (Karma Yoga) in order to fulfill his vow of service towards mankind. Being a great exponent of Bhagavad Gita, Swami Vivekananda disseminated the knowledge of eternal scientific deeds and self realization to the World based on the principles of Bhagavad Gita.

Bhagvada Gita enunciates the immortal, eternal and scientific knowledge for the youth to bring transformation of society. Accentuating the imperativeness to posses the vision of welfare for all (Sarvabhoot hite rata, Lord Krishna emanated the three consecrated sources of Knowledge, Deeds (Karma) and Worship(Bhakti) through the Sacred Ganges of Bhagavada Gita.

It is melancholic to observe that despite the higher standards of education, the youth’s spiritual intellect (i.e. The real self) is lying dormant. The absence of spirituality is the main cause in ones’ ruination and we are actually witnessing the assassination of character in today’s Youth wherein he, to satiate his unaccomplished aspirations, resort to criminal activities. The atrocious and greedy mindsets are the main problems for the turbulence prevalent in our society.

The scientific knowledge of righteous deeds pronounced in Bhagavad Gita is significantly instrumental in the development of peace, security, Justice of human beings.
