We welcome all of you to a teaching next Tuesday on Using the Wisdom of Emotional Intelligence in Difficult Times by Geshe Tenzin Namdak on December 18, 2018 - 06:30 pm to 08:00 pm

Can the high-sounding wisdom of sages actually help us when things go badly? This wisdom of selflessness and interdependent-arising realized and explained by Buddha is meant to serve as a healing balm for our wounds and a joyous elixir for our souls. It is not meant to be merely the fodder of dry intellectual banter. But how do we get a concrete taste of this wisdom, and how do we apply it to the trials and tribulations of our daily lives? Geshe Tenzin Namdak will rouse and instruct us in gradually developing the practice of this wisdom and drawing on it in times of conflict.

Born and raised in The Netherlands, Geshe Tenzin Namdak took his ordination with His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama. On April 26, 2016, Geshe Namdak received the title of 'Geshe' (after studying for 20 years in Buddhist philosophy) from Sera Je Monastic University in recognition of his completion of the advanced Buddhist studies and practice program.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to increase your wisdom and compassion!
