4th Aug 2018, Saturday - 6pm to 8pm: Lama Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga Practice led by Venerable Gyalten Rabten

This is a short but powerful practice related to Lama Tsongkhapa, a great Tibetan scholar, saint, and teacher of the 14th century. It contains verses which express eloquently a visualization, meditation on the seven limbs (ie. prostration, offering, confession, rejoicing, requesting to remain, and to teach, and dedication) and a supplication to help invoke the blessings and guidance of one's personal teachers and to develop the realizations of guru devotion.

Reciting the 5-line praise to Lama Tsongkhapa contained in this practice is also an excellent method to rid oneself of obstacles and develop realizations on the path to enlightenment.

As Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche has advised, “If one keeps even a drop of the nectar of the name of this holy being Lama Tsongkhapa in a devotional heart, it plants the seed of liberation and one receives the fortune to practice and enjoy happiness from this life up to enlightenment”.

4th Aug 2018, Saturday - 05:00 pm to 05:45 pm: Group Sutra Recitation
Recitation of The Golden Light Sutra

The practice will be conducted by Venerable Gyalten Rabten. Born and raised in Singapore, Venerable Rabten is one of our senior Teachers at CKSL from the Sera Jey Monastery in Bylakuppe (Karnataka).

All are welcome!
