January 15th (Tue.)- 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm: “My Life with My Master” A Talk by Venerable Khangser Rinpoche!

At the dawn of 2019, we are extremely fortunate to be receiving teachings from the most precious Ven. Khangser Rinpoche.

The highly venerated Tenzin Tsultrim Palden is recognised as the 8th reincarnation of Khangser Rinpoche. His ancestors followed the Nyingma tradition for centuries and Rinpoche’s line of reincarnations is affiliated with the Gelug tradition, hence he possesses both the precious heritages. Rinpoche obtained a Geshe Lharam Degree (equivalent to a Ph.D) in Buddhism and was conferred the highest signification amongst the top division. He has directly received a wealth of teachings on both Tantra and Sutra from many great Tibetan yogis and spiritual teachers from four major Tibetan Buddhist sects. Rinpoche is recognized as one of the great teachers of the 21st century, adorned with boundless compassion and possessing the eagerness to cultivate the seed of loving kindness in the mind stream of all sentient beings. His fluid, effervescent style of teaching is something that everyone can enjoy and learn from.

“My Life with My Master” will be the topic for the evening. Rinpoche will talk about and share his experiences with His Master, and help us get a glimpse into the life of a modern day Guru-Chela relationship, hopefully inspiring us all in some ways to explore the Truth. His Eminence Geshe Lobsang Tsering, also referred to as Ven. Khensur Rinpoche, is the master of Ven. Khangser Rinpoche is referring to.

His Eminence Geshe Lobsang Tsering, the 70th abbot of Sera Jey Monastery, was born in Tibet in 1923. At Sera Jey Monastery in South India, he earned the first position in his Geshe Lharampa Examination in 1978. In 1986, he was enthroned the 70th abbot of Sera Jey Monastery and made several developments in both spiritual and administrative fields. He devoted his entire life to teaching the Buddhist philosophy to scores of aspiring students. Rinpoche gave the innaugural teaching of Choe Khor Sum Ling.

Please try not to miss this precious and rare opportunity to have great masters talk about their personal experiences.
