We invite you all to a non-residential retreat on "Great Compassion" from Nov. 9 evening to Nov. 11 morning. The retreat will be led by Ven. Tenzin Namjong. It will be a beginner and intermediate level retreat at the CKSL centre.

A precious opportunity to hear profound Buddhist teaching. If you are in the area do not miss out!

Retreat Schedule:
9 Nov (Friday): Evening 6 pm to 8 pm
10 Nov (Saturday): Morning and afternoon 10:30 am to 1 pm and 2:30 pm to 6 pm (Lunch included)
11 Nov (Sunday): Morning 10 am to 1 pm

Ven. Tenzin Namjong will lead the study retreat on great compassion and generating Boddhichitta. Venerable will follow the text by the great Nalanda Pundit Shantideva called Bodhicaryavatara or "Engaging in the Deeds of the Bodhisattva." We are also studying this book as part of the Basic Program which is an ongoing course at the centre.

In these sessions:
- We will get a glimpse of most celebrated texts of Mahayana Buddhism
- There will be a meditation practice

- There will also be a short breaks in between where there will be tea and snacks. On Saturday, lunch will be provided.
- You may attend all or any of the sessions
- It is a non-residential and no fees will be charged though donations are welcome

The course will be conducted by Venerable Tenzin Namjong who entered Sera Je Monastic University in Bylakuppe (Karnataka State) in 2007 to pursue Geshe studies. Venerable Namjong is a senior Teacher at CKSL.
