Once there was a Disciple, who was called 'Ahamkara'.

He after being so tormented by world full of pair of opposites such as good or bad, right or wrong full of delusion went to Guru of named "Nirahamkara" and said,

"I am so tormented by everything, nothing filled me up, i am unfulfilled therefore i came to you sir, please tell me something through which i can be free and full"

Guru said,
"Firstly, You have to worship the physical image of Nirahamkara for long time and come to me"

Disciple after worshiping the image came and said
"I have worshiped as you said Sir, i have gained certain qualities such as humility, kindness, for-bearing & forgiveness through it, what now sir?"

Guru said,
"Good now you have to worship mental image of Nirahamkara for long time and come to me"

Disciple after worshiping the image came and said
"I have worshiped as you said sir, I have gained control over my senses via knowledge that dawned upon me, owing to control over sense and rise of bhakti, i have become Selfless, I came to know one to be all and all to be one, What now sir?"

Guru said,
"Good, now, you are knower of one self that is in all, which is undivided, which is everything movable and unmovable, indeed this is the status of seekers which they gain after long years of practices, you are becoming desire less as there is nothing but one truth, one light, one self that is all".

"Ahamkara, listen, there is nothing but self, everything is mere super-imposition, everything is but this self, every state of mind or of universe is nothing but this light, they exists separate from self as words exists separate from objects, they have no existence of their own but owing to this self, they exists, then again, listen Ahamkara, This self does not actually becomes these objects for they are mere superimposition like of name on body, like of body on mind, like of mind on intelligence and like of intelligence on self which is but pure Awareness, the light"

"Ahamkara, this light is waking, this light is dreaming, this light is deep sleep, this light is everything, which you are, tell me what are you?"

"Nirahamkara" Said the Disciple.
"Oh under influence of Delusion rising out of ignorance, I thought i am different that is different, hence this light i identified with Ahamkara, now its original nature of Nirahamkara has shine forth, hence i am free by nature, what should i desire who is light by nature? the question of even getting liberated is burned off, what to speak of bondage?"

Hence then, Guru and Disciple became one.
