    Yes, very well explained but when it comes to being memory the first, then a doubt arises against it that, memory is just an record of what was experienced by senses owing to certain desire, may it be favourable which turns into good memory or unfavourable turns into bad memory.

    So going this path, we know that memory is outcome of desire, and desire of memory.

    My precise take on this is as you said,
    "This it is safe to say that they operate together.".

    🙏 great question. On the outset desire is born to sences. As in when our sences come in contact with the world desire is born. So in that way it’s the play of ego and sences that gives birth to desire and all this becomes memory. Next time around when our sences come in contact with anything similar in the world then same memory triggers giving experience of desire. Thus in this case memory comes first then desire.
